These sellers had a growing family and were living in the burbs and ultimately landlording was not for them. The truth is, for many people the time and stress of being a landlord just doesn’t make sense given their life situation and my clients rightly recognized it was best to sell their investment condo and move on.
With my help we were able to prepare the condo for sale and properly stage it to make it shine.
This part of Medford can be challenging, with longer days on market before an accepted offer compared to other parts of Medford. While the property did sit for a while, we were able to stand firm on price and ultimately only sold for $25,000 under asking.
That might sound disappointing to some, but you have to recognize location and existing market conditions play a role in where a property lands and sometimes a small under ask offer is actually a win, which I believe was the case here.
